Saturday 17th March 2012: Congratulations to all the players of Pontypool Brass, for coming 1st at the Welsh Regional Championships in Swansea, The band are now looking forward to The National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain in Cheltenham in September.

We are PONTYPOOL BRASS - Pontypool’s own town Brass Band.
The band has recently reformed under the direction of local musician and teacher Owen Farr, with many new and enthusiastic players who have great drive and ambition to make the band as great as it once was. We look forward to welcoming any new players - whether young or old, and of whatever musical ability - to join a friendly group who want to make music and, just as importantly, have fun
